FUNDRAISING GOALS FOR 2024

 

We are thrilled to have all of our funding in for another permanent, two classroom building.
We have an ongoing monthly need of $1,000 for teachers' salaries and food for the students.

Here’s how you can help:

• Donate $120 to support one teacher for a month

• Make a monthly donation of $10, $25, $50, etc.  All donations are welcome!  Donate through Paypal and choose Kenya School and Follow us on Facebook   

• Purchase Brown Bear Car Wash tickets! Get your vehicle "beary" clean by purchasing tickets on Go Fund Me. Hit the DONATE button, then Enter $21 for 3 car wash tickets (a $30 value) or 6 tickets for $41 (a $60 value), which includes postage. Your car wash tickets will be mailed to the address you provide when you purchase.

 

 

OUR KENYA SCHOOL ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO DATE

 

Our first Service and Safari trip to Kenya was in September 2018, when we provided funds for a two-classroom building, solar power, water tanks, toilets, desks, a fenced yard, a student meal program and teachers' salaries.

Additional funds were sent to support the school during the Covid-10 pandemic: food, masks, soap, temporary classrooms for social distancing, kitchen and dining hall building, isolation medical room, and school supplies.

​

To date, we have raised over $100,000 for these projects. In addition to needing funds for a new classroom in 2023 the Global Service Team continues to fund teachers’ salaries and lunch meals for the students.

​

We are very excited that WellAwareWorld.org has drilled a successful water well at the school. It is having a huge impact for the community in this rural area providing fresh water for drinking and cooking – as well as for growing vegetables.
